QLab Technical Support is Provided by Dr. Wei Tang.
Dr. Wei Tang is the founder and Laboratory Director of QLab in Cherry Hill, New
Jersey. Dr. Tang graduated from Cornell University with his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in
Soil Microbiology. He has worked in professional microbiology laboratories including
Cornell Soil Microbiology Laboratory and P&K Microbiology Services, Inc. His work in
the recent years is focused on microbiological sampling and analysis for indoor
environmental quality assessment. To fulfill his life long goal of dedicating his
professional knowledge to serve the public, Dr. Tang went on to start QLab in
February 2005. He has taught professional development course and presented at
national conferences on sampling and analysis of indoor microorganisms. Dr. Tang
currently serves on IAQA Board of Directors. He is also the inventor of several
microbial sampling devices and analytical protocols.
